从事化学反应工程、催化新材料的设计合成方面的研究工作。主持和参与了反应器多尺度建模、废水及废气处理、计算机辅助催化剂设计、新型反应器的设计开发等国家自然科学基金、江苏省自然科学基金课题的研究工作。Chemical Engineering Journal, Chemical Engineering Science, Applied Catalysis B等期刊发表论文80多篇,申请国家发明专利十多项,授权8项。
