Research Fields

Professor Baoan Chen(MD/PhD) isa renowned hematologist and oncologist in China. He is the director of Facultyof Oncology of Southeast University, leader of Department of Hematology of theAffiliated Zhongda Hospital of Southeast University, head of MDS ResearchInstitute. He got his bachelor’s degree and master‘s degree in Nanjing RailwayMedical College, MD/PhD degree in Shanghai Medical University, and completedhis post doc. training in Department of Hematology and Oncology of ULMUniversity. He is the senior visiting scholar in MD Aderson Cancer Center, UCBerkely, University of Heidelberg and several world‘s famous universities.Professor Chen has rich experience in hematological malignancies diagnosis andtreatment. His research interests include overcoming multidrug resistance ofcancer, preventing and treating relapse of leukemia after HSCT and basic andclinical research of MDS.
